The two sides agreed that the Forum, as one of important activities of Year of Russia in China, was the high-level communication meeting with the biggest scale in Chinese and Russian economic circles in recent years. The Forum had much TOPics and the two sides discussed further cooperation in energy resources, finance, information and electromechanical products and came to a serious consensus4, which would bring out active and far-reaching affection on Sino-Russia trade and economic cooperation.
Wu Yi said that Sino-Russia trade and economic cooperation was entering into a development period recently and the rapid economic increase of the two countries created new cooperation opportunities, we should enhance communication among big enterprises, promote implementation5 of big projects to play the role of demonstration6 in RD of technology, capital and management level, and drive up the upgrade of bilateral7 cooperation. On the other hand, governments of the two countries should offer favorable conditions for enterprises' cooperation and projects implementation, should enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and seize cooperation chances. Chinese and Russian enterprises should be actively8 enterprising, strengthen communication, develop advantages and increase propagandizing of products and obtain more cooperation opportunities, should positively9 adapt to the change of market requirement, policies, regulations and rules, new market environment, should strongly develop hi-tech cooperation and even expedite the cooperation to foster new growth point of scientific and technological10 cooperation.
Dmitri Medvedev said that Sino-Russia trade and economic developed with a high speed in recent years, the practical cooperation among departments and enterprises of the two countries made fruitful achievements. Through holding the Year of China and the Year of Russia, bilateral relations and trade and economic cooperation level between China and Russia were improved to a new high. Meanwhile, he hoped that the two countries could keep a deep communication on TOPics discussed at the Forum and could enlarge cooperation.
After the Meeting, Wu Yi and Medvedev participated together the dinner for High-Level Sino-Russian Economic Forum.
Total 50 representatives, including Ma Kai, Minister of the State Development and Reform Commission, Xu Shaoshi, Deputy Secretary-general of the State Council, Xi Guohua, China's Vice Minister of Information and Industry, Yu Guangzhou, Vice Minister of Commerce, Hu Xiaolian, Assistant Governor of the People's Bank of China, Li Hui, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Russian governmental officials and entrepreneurs, took part in the Meeting
